Heidi specializes in school law. She provides guidance on education-related legal topics such as FERPA, student data privacy, appropriate use of social media for teachers, first amendment rights for teachers and students, and due process rights for teachers and students. She also advises clients on employment matters, policy drafting, and special education laws and regulations. Prior to her current practice, Heidi was worked at the Utah State Office of Education as a School Law and an Investigator/Prosecutor for the Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission.
