<p>Adam Laurie, a.k.a. “rfidiot” is IBM X-Force Red's Global Lead Hardware Hacker. Adam has four decades of information technology and security experience. Before joining IBM he launched several companies, one of which brought to market Apache-SSL, the first secure open source web server. He went on to pioneer the concept of re-using military data centers housed in underground nuclear bunkers as secure hosting facilities and also built satellite music transmission sites and the world's first CD ripper "CDGRAB.”</p> <p>Adam has been a senior DEF CON goon ("Major Malfunction") since 1997 and is the point-of-contact for the London DEF CON chapter DC4420. He has given presentations on forensics, magnetic stripe, EMV, InfraRed, RF, RFID, embedded systems, glitching, terrestrial and satellite TV hacking, and, of course, Magic Moonbeams.</p>
