Libby Liu

Libby Liu (@wbaidlaw) is the CEO of Whistleblower Aid, and a longtime advocate for international human rights, press freedom, democracy, and responsible use of technology. Prior to joining Whistleblower Aid, Libby founded the Open Technology Fund and served as President of Radio Free Asia. At the legal non-profit Whistleblower Aid, she leads a team that supports and advocates for individuals who lawfully report government and corporate law breaking. Specializing in big tech and national security cases, the organization has been behind some of the biggest disclosures of recent years, including representing the Facebook Whistleblower Frances Haugen, the Twitter Whistleblower Peiter ‘Mudge’ Zatko, and the anonymous intelligence community whistleblower whose disclosure led to the first impeachment of President Trump.
