Leon Jaimes, pronounced hi-Mays, has 17 years of experience specializing in Information Security, Enterprise Networking, and Data Center Virtualization.He is the founder of Sollievo IT, LLC, an Anchorage based information security consulting firm. Leon has lead teams in a variety of enterprise projects including, penetration testing, cybersecurity assessments and incident response exercises for clients in the financial, healthcare, local government, businesses engaged in government contracting. Most recently, Leon has been heavily involved with DFARS compliance and the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) NIST SP800-171 guidelines. He has also worked under multiple compliance entities including HIPAA, SOX, PCI DSS, and NISPOM. Leon is passionate about securing information systems, continued learning around new attack methods, and creative new defensive technologies, processes, and procedures.
