Eating Frogs - Humble Information Defense

Present an overview of some of the existing challenges faced by small and medium size businesses around implementing and maintaining information security programs and technologies, how to leverage free tools and tools that most businesses already own, and some strategies for bringing along the people in the organization as a crucial part of managing the change and maintaining long term success.

• Leon Jaimes - Sollievo IT, LLC
  Leon Jaimes, pronounced hi-Mays, has 17 years of experience specializing in Information Security, Enterprise Networking, and Data Center Virtualization.He is the founder of Sollievo IT, LLC, an Anchorage based information security consulting firm. Leon has lead teams in a variety of enterprise projects including, penetration testing, cybersecurity assessments and incident response exercises for clients in the financial, healthcare, local government, businesses engaged in government contracting. Most recently, Leon has been heavily involved with DFARS compliance and the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) NIST SP800-171 guidelines. He has also worked under multiple compliance entities including HIPAA, SOX, PCI DSS, and NISPOM. Leon is passionate about securing information systems, continued learning around new attack methods, and creative new defensive technologies, processes, and procedures.
