Presenters:

  • Jamie Rimphanli
    Jamie Rimphanli joined Hire Heroes USA in May 2015, and started as a Transition Specialist. She was promoted to Area Manager of the Los Angeles office before moving to Employment Partnerships and Opportunities as the Employer Relations Specialist. In her current role, she counsels employers on how to develop veteran hiring initiatives through training and recommended recruiting resources provided through Hire Heroes USA. She has more than 10 years of nonprofit experience in program administration in career and workforce development for Los Angeles County. Prior to joining the team, Ms. Rimphanli began her career as a Program Manager for Energy Pathway Program for South By Center for Counseling (SBCC) to manage grant funds and supervise Workforce Development Specialists while maintaining and recruiting employer partners. After SBCC, Ms. Rimphanli realized the needs of the veteran population by the high number of participants seeking employer services that she moved on to work at United States Veterans Initiative (U.S. VETS) in Long Beach. Ms. Rimphanli served as a Workforce Development Coordinator where she supervised Workforce Case Managers and Job Developers who career counseled and provided job placement for homeless and recently separated veterans. Ms. Rimphanli was born in Long Beach, CA and currently resides in Westminster, CA with her family. She holds a dual Bachelor of Arts in Art History and Global Cultures with an emphasis on Inter-Area Studies from the University of California - Irvine.
