At Notacon 9, Peter will discuss his work with Telecomix, a volunteer group of activists who have been keeping the Internet running in the Middle East in the face of government censorship in his presentation, "Hacking for Freedom".

  Peter Fein is an activist for democracy as well as an advocate for free and open communication. Much of his work is focused on enabling people under oppressive regimes to use the technology they have to communicate and share their experiences with the world.
