Glitch Textiles

Presented at Notacon 10 (2013), April 19, 2013, 2 p.m. (60 minutes)

The Glitch Textiles project transforms glitches in the cold, hard logic of digital circuits transformed into soft, warm textiles-a collection of woven and knit wall hangings and blankets whose patterns are generated using images taken with short circuited cameras and other unorthodox digital techniques. Creator, Phillip Stearns presents the project, how it came into being, the process, and the future of this strange intersection of glitch and textile arts. http://glitchtextiles.com http://phillipstearns.com
