Who filled this schedule?

Presented at May Contain Hackers (MCH2022), July 26, 2022, 1 p.m. (30 minutes).

Welcome to the wonderful world of filling up a schedule which lasts for almost a week. What magic is needed to get it done? How do we make sure people have a good time? How do we make not only the public but also the speakers happy? What else do we do aside from reading submissions?

Not only do the people in team:Content have a network of contacts, but they also need an agility of mind to be able to understand the different submissions and how they are rated. The work isn't just reading though - we have to schedule everything as well. We have to get speakers to submit. We write blog posts. We choose stage names. And once the schedule is published... we work with the speakerdesk. This is our process.

You may have seen me running around a bit in previous conferences and you will see me running around during this one too. One day I will be able to actually see a few of the talks too! I like airplanes.
