The Internet is not supposed to have borders, but it does. Countries fight and spy on each other on the Internet every day. So, borders still exist on the Internet, and almost all countries are investing into offensive use of cyber power. The new weapons they are developing are different from any other kind of weapon we've ever seen, and we are now seeing the very beginning of the next arms race.

Mikko Hypponen has been tracking online crime since 1991. He has written on his research for the New York Times, Wired and Scientific American and lectured at the universities of Oxford, Stanford and Cambridge. His TED Talk has been seen by 1,5 million people and translated to 40 languages. Mikko works at F-Secure. He's also the Curator for the Malware Museum at the Internet Archive. He does his own stunts.
