**The Cypurr Collective** is a group of cybersecurity fans who love to put on accessible and holistic workshops around privacy and security. Started in 2016, they host regular cryptoparties, social events, and discussions, with the purpose of helping folks learn how to protect their privacy and security online, in the face of peer, corporate, and state actors, focusing on a harm reduction approach to personal safety. They've held digital security workshops at venues such as New York Public Library, Brooklyn Public Library, Bluestockings, Babycastles, and the Silent Barn, and they are a member of the Electronic Frontier Alliance.
