Shillingford has served as an Advisor at Signal Peak Ventures since 2013, and also serves on the boards of E8 Security and eFilecabinet. In 2013, he was brought in as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Advanced Threat Protection at Blue Coat Systems in the acquisition of Solera Networks. Shillingford was the President and CEO of Solera networks from 2007 - 2013, leading the company's explosive growth as a leader in innovative cybersecurity technologies. He joined Solera Networks from Oracle Corporation, where he was named Top Account Executive for the worldwide sales team during his tenure from 2000 - 2007. Prior to Oracle, Shillingford worked in various positions at Novell Inc., focusing on networking and identity management solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises.
