Melanie has a background in Anthropology and Computer Science and a PhD in Communications, researching on the intersection of digital technologies, communication studies, STS and international development. Since 2013 Melanie is a research associate at TU Berlin with a teaching a research interest in electronics, digital labs and ICTs and education and working on a freelance basis as a consultant in the same area.
