Bio: Florian Horsch is with ERNW since 2007 and was heavily involved in the planning and execution of the TROOPERS conference in recent years. Starting as a hobby he got heavily involved in the open hardware 3D printing community. With a background in Industrial Engineering he co-founded a 3D printing startup in 2012, developing and marketing the large scale Delta Tower printers. In his best-selling book "3D Printing for Everybody" he shared his experience in this field to a wide audience. End of 2015 Florian and his team founded the nonprofit Soup and Socks e.V. and got involved in the refugee relief effort in Greece by providing food and clothing. Progressing from there he started Habibi.Works in Northern Greece, introducing the concept of a FabLab (fabrication laboratory = open workshop) to the refugee context.
