Erik Wu

Dr. Erik Wu recently joined a stealth deception startup, working on the next- generation active defense technologies. Prior to his new endeavor, he built an Internet-scale platform for emerging threats collection, analysis, and enforcement at Nominum. Dr. Wu is one of the main brains behind several current technologies being widely-deployed to protect against DNS-based attacks. He brings many years' experience in the cyber security industry including chief scientist at Damballa, principal scientist/researcher at McAfee, and head of advanced threat research at Trend Micro. Dr Wu has a PhD from Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and was a visiting scientist at MIT Computer Science Lab.
