Ed Schouten is a FreeBSD developer from the Netherlands. Between 2008 and 2012 he worked on various projects, such as importing Clang into FreeBSD's base system, FreeBSD's new console driver and support for C11. Since the start of this year he is working on a new technology called CloudABI that allows you to create UNIX-like programs that are strongly sandboxed.
