Ransomware Defense Why is my computer going to Compton?

We have methods that we use ourselves on a daily basis which we do not implement in our computers lives. What method? We do not go to places of gang activity and crime to protect ourselves and our family. Our computers systems should have a similar radar in which it can use to save itself from getting owned.
