Linux containerization has become a popular tool in the toolbox of developers and systems administrators alike. Containers are quickly becoming a cross-distro “packaging” standard which removes the pain of mismatched versions of Python, Mono, Ruby and more. Ever wanted to quickly deploy your tool to 1,000 machines spread across 4 different cloud providers? We can do that. In this talk we’re going to briefly cover the history of Linux containerization, various flavors of containerization in existence, how to properly build them, and demo their use in packaging and deploying your attack tool of choice.
