“Open Source Approach: The Next Best Thing in Cyber Incidence Management”

Presented at BSidesDC 2017, Oct. 7, 2017, 11:30 a.m. (50 minutes)

The sheer volume of data coming in from social media, email, log messages and other sources can easily overwhelm a business. Gleaning the most important insights from that data can pose an even greater challenge. Open source intelligence offers a sea of content for analysts to explore from a standpoint of actors, tactics, and patters, but does it really help mitigate cybersecurity risks?

In this presentation, Chris Ensey, COO of Dunbar Security Solutions, will provide an overview of how open source intelligence and incident management tools can revolutionize your business’ cyber security workflow for maximum protection.
