So you have an education and went out and got yourself some security certifications and still can't find a job. Your resume speaks volumes, but is it saying enough to get you into the door for an interview? Are you depending on your education and certifications to get you through the door, if the answer is yes you may find yourself in an endless application process.
What are you working on outside of school? What are you studying for along with these certifications which exposes you to necessary skills? By necessary skills I'm referring to the type which helps you perform well in the field and make yourself stand out as a desired asset to any given company? Are you networking with people in the field, are you setting up VMs at home, are you working with different security tools, what else do you have to talk about other than your education and certifications? What makes you that unique asset, what sets you apart from the other candidates, how do you sell yourself to someone without any work experience?
