The insurance industry's view on Social Engineering. What it is, what losses look like, and how to avoid it.

  • Mark Petersen - State of Utah
    Mark joined Utah State Risk Management from Farmers Insurance where he handled and managed claims in auto physical damage, auto and homeowner liability, commercial auto, and litigated claims. He has been in the insurance industry for 11 years. He obtained his B.A. from the University of Utah and his M.A. from Southern New Hampshire University. He supervises the State Loss Control staff and provides risk training and consultations to Utah state agencies, institutions of higher education, school districts, and charter schools. Mark serves as the Vice President of the Utah Chapter of Public Risk Management Association (UPRIMA).
  • Jon Stutz - Moreton and Company
    Jon has over seventeen years of experience in the risk management and insurance brokerage industry. He has established himself as an industry leader in building custom insurance and risk management programs for CEO™, CFO™, Risk Managers, and Human Resource Professionals. Jon has consulted with numerous industry groups and associations including financial institutions, public entities, health care organizations, manufacturers, technology companies, etc. Prior to joining Moreton & Company, Jon worked in Aon Financial Services Group in Denver and Chicago. He has presented for a number of associations and industry seminars including “Privacy and Network Security” in conjunction with Holland & Hart and Chubb, and D&O Liability, Now Personal in conjunction with the Colorado Software and Internet Association.
