Trusting someone else with your data and your customer's data can be a scary thing. When looking at potential vendors to help out with your work, whether it is open source or off-the-shelf, there are certain things that should be taken into consideration to make sure that your data and your customer's data stays safe. Come learn some tips and tricks for conducting a vendor security review the right way.

Chase Palmer is a Utah native and lives in Orem with his wife and son. Chase has worked in the cyber security field for over 10 years with a focus on security compliance and governance. He has worked for SecurityMetrics and for the Defense Information Systems Agency at Hill Air Force Base. He currently works as a Security Engineer for Lucid Software and is the president of a local non-profit organization. Chase is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
