Developing a Cyber Security Strategy, Tactics come after

It is easy to get lost in the day-to-day tasks of cyber security. These tasks are important. Vigilance is required. Are you effective and efficient in doing the tasks? Do they even meet the overall cyber security strategy? Is there a strategy? We will discuss what a strategy is, and the value a defined strategy is to the organization. Then we can determine what tasks are MOST important to secure the environment

    As an Information Security Professional with more than 18 years of technology experience, I have been an integral part of the management team in dynamic, high demand, & high profile industries. I have experience in both international and large, complex business environments. Operating at senior management levels, I have successfully created and implemented policies and procedures for proper security, IT governance, and compliance to strict laws, regulations, & demanding client requests. I have also been responsible for IT Operations, which gives me the opportunity to understand technology requirements and limitations. This operational experience gives me a deeper understanding of how to meet security requirements.
