Hybrid Code Analysis: Overcoming Weaknesses of Dynamic Analysis in Malware Forensics

Dynamic program analysis has become an important technique to detect and understand malicious software. However, the result of dynamic analysis is often unsatisfactory in malware forensics. Dynamic analysis does not feature complete code coverage, as only one execution path is analyzed.
