this talk will be on the emerging field in the crossover area between industrial art and mixed-media interactive sculpture (read: GIANT FLAMETHROWERS OH MY GOD), covering the technical aspects of both fire art (how to build flame effects, what the difference is between a "flame effect" and a "flamethrower") and control systems (designing custom PCBs).
