Glitched Imperfections

Presented at Notacon 10 (2013), April 19, 2013, 1 p.m. (60 minutes).

Glitched Imperfections is a project based around insecurities. I have taken appropriated images of some of the most famous women of the 20th century and have glitched their images with quotes by these women that degraded themselves. The result is a distorted image created by turning this image into a text file, inserting the quote, and then re-opening the image in it's corrupted state. This effect mimics the destruction they created on themselves with their insecure thoughts.
