You can overhear it at any Security Conference bar: Someone ranting about what is "wrong" with our industry. The familiar culprits of "check-box compliance" and "magic-box vendors" are quick to take the blame, but what if we are part of the problem? I see posts daily from well known and well meaning people on Twitter talking about how you if are doing security perfectly, "UR DOIN IT WRONG!" In this talk, Stephen Heath will give our industry some tough love and remind us that it benefits no one to let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
