The Evolution of Trollette

Presented at NolaCon 2018, May 19, 2018, 5 p.m. (Unknown duration).

Long ago an idea was born from a Talk Roulette by Kate Pierce: "Why should we build our own presentations? Can't computers do that for us?" This talk will cover the evolution of Trollette, an automated presentation generation framework. We will start with its humble origins as a crappy command line tool that would break 50% of the time and make bullets of unicode characters, and end with the newly released Trollette site that lets everyone generate their own presentations with little effort.
