Ever wanted to make your own replacement battery or repair power tools? How about a DIY power wall? Recycling batteries can lead to all sorts of fun projects to revitalize products or build new ones. This talk will discuss basic battery theory and review how to build your own battery pack.

Nate Wood is a passionate cyber security professional at FNTS as a Sr. Cloud Security Engineer. He enjoys contributing to information security projects such as the CTF platform redctf. Nate is an active member of his local security community as a member of the DEF CON 402 group and a organizing committee member for Kernelcon (a Midwest security conference). His hobbies include 3d printing, camping, and cycling. Kernelcon 2022 is his first time as a conference speaker.
