It is code that makes our computers work for us. Do you know what your computer is doing, or in other words: do you know what code is running?
The last couple of years great projects arose to gain more control over the code that is running on your computer. We reduce the amount of binary blobs, replace built-in firmware, verify precompiled binaries,
check program signatures, limit program capabilities, and monitor their behavior. In this presentation I'll give an overview of the available technologies, and how they help you gain more control over your computing.
