The rising flame of community engagement

Networking vs community. *Why is forming a sense of community in the cyber security scene important? *Have we managed to create meaningful connections within the cyber security domain that will help us as individuals or as entities (public or private) improve our cyber security posture? *Why is it important to create a cyber resilient individual or entity? The formation of cyber communities can help solve a lot of the pain points in the field of cyber, such as attracting and retaining talent, dealing more effectively with coordinated and targeted attacks, building a more accurate threat intelligence picture. Presenters:

  • Bianca Buznean
    Cyber Security professional working within the manufacturing/automotive industry, as Head of Cyber Security Risk Management in Volvo Group. With a background in risk management, Bianca has worked with offensive security projects, threat intelligence as well as critical infrastructure and resiliency matters with a focus on the economic, technological, social and political implications mostly within the financial sector before moving into manufacturing. Frontrunner of Nordic Financial CERT and founder and president of Women4Cyber Denmark, she has experience with building up communities within the cyber security scene on local and regional level.
