Navigating the Icy Waters of Negativity

Presented at Diana Initiative 2017, July 28, 2017, 9:30 a.m. (30 minutes)

Ever been told that if you don’t go out for Friday night drinks it might be a career limiting move (CLM), or that perhaps you need to go back to security 101 simply because you asked too many questions and wanted to learn. Hearing these kinds of negative comments makes an awful first impression on our careers and it’s time to change the behaviour.

Many of us have personally have been impacted by managers, colleagues and vendors. It’s that bad energy of a minority group that stick with us for such a long time. As women we bring strength, detail, accuracy, hard work, dedication and passion. In this presentation I want to share with you how you can turn that negativity into a positive outcome
