In addition, HD drives technical innovation across Rapid7′s products and services, applying technology to the challenge of identifying and defending against current and emerging threats, as well as heading the development of experimental prototypes and free tools. HD is the creator and chief architect of Metasploit, the world’s leading open source penetration testing framework, and remains deeply involved in Metasploit’s evolution at the architectural level.
