Is it time for another firewall or a security awareness program?

A lot of time when dealing with security it is easier to add a new firewall or sexy new IPS than it is to implement a security awareness program. At some point technology stops working and our end users have to start helping secure our networks. We will talk about what works, what doesn’t work and what we could do better while implementing a security awareness program.

  Jerry Gamblin has been the Network Security Specialist for the Missouri House of Representatives since 2005. Jerry manages the Missouri House of Representatives security program and speak regularly to security groups around the country about network security and security awareness issues.
