The Metasploit Framework has changed considerably since I started playing with it, all those years ago when owning friends in a coffeeshop was the height of entertainment. This talk will cover some of the history of the Framework focusing on the last 3-4 years, when my interests became more professional, and highlighting major changes along the way. From there, we’ll discuss the awesome new features in the latest 4.0 release. Lastly, I’ll explain some of our plans for the future.
