Are you ready to dive deep into the world of malware analysis? Join me for an immersive workshop that will demystify the process of dissecting and analyzing malicious software. Throughout this hands-on session, participants will explore essential techniques and methodologies for uncovering the inner workings of malware and identifying potential threats.
During the workshop we will analyze different kinds of malware, from malicious documents, .NET malware and more . Through practical demonstrations attendees will learn how to conduct static and dynamic analysis effectively, gaining valuable insights into malware behaviors and characteristics. Moreover, attendees will gain firsthand experience in executing and analyzing techniques used by attackers, deepening their understanding of how threat actors operate and how to detect and mitigate their malware effectively.
By the end of the workshop, attendees will have developed practical skills and techniques for analyzing real-world malware samples, empowering them to defend against evolving cyberthreats effectively.

Sebastian's journey into cybersecurity began with a childhood fascination for taking things apart and figuring out how they worked. As he grew older, this curiosity evolved into a passion for hacking and uncovering vulnerabilities in websites and applications, landing him a role in vulnerability management. Eventually, he pivoted into a Security Architect role, where he applied offensive thinking with defensive strategies to advance the security posture of the company he works for. Now an Offensive Security Architect, Sebastian specializes in designing and leading purple team exercises, leveraging real attacker TTPs to test and enhance their security posture effectively.
