Security and Privacy in the Current E-Mobility Charging Infrastructure

Presented at DeepSec 2016 „Ten“, Unknown date/time (Unknown duration)

Smart and electric mobility is an emerging market and thus an interesting area of research and development. Already multiple different solutions have been implemented, but neither any clear market player, nor any proven and widely adopted standards or best-practice exist today. This talk will focus on the security and privacy aspects of e-mobility charging infrastructure. From the authentication process to reserve or start a charging process to billing and fraud-detection. It will further give an overview on how current ICT solutions (OCPP, OICP, OCPI, ISO 15118, ...) handle those requirements and what could be done to improve the current situation.
