As we are in the business of information security, it is important that we have an understanding of the security classifications within New Zealand and what they actually mean. It is an area that everyone has heard of, but unless you have worked in classified environments you may not have a full appreciation of what classifications really mean.
This presentation aims to provide a basic understanding of the New Zealand Security Classification system, What the purpose of the system is and then a bit of a deep dive into the different security classifications we have within New Zealand.
