Eine zweite Büste der ägyptischen Königin sei gefunden worden, meldete Ägyptens größte Zeitung. Der Fund war jedoch Teil einer Kunstaktion, die Museen und Kunstmarkt für deren Umgang mit Antiken kritisiert.
Nelles und Al-Badri haben mit einem portablen Scanner die Daten der Nofretete aus dem Neuen Museum in Berlin geraubt und den daraufhin angefertigten 3D Druck in Kairo ausgestellt. Mit ihrer multimedialen Intervention „The Other Nefertiti“ stellen sie Fragen nach Original und Kopie, nach dem Monopol auf Digitalisate
und fordern die neokolonialen Strukturen von Museen heraus.
Auf dem Kongress werden sie über notwendige Lügen sprechen und Kunst als oppositionelle Strategie, alternative Erzählungen und wie Deutsche den Terror von Daesh finanzieren.

Nelles-Al-Badri is a collective based in Berlin by Nora Al-Badri and Jan Nikolai Nelles.
Beside their individual practise they work as a collective since 2009.
Their works got granted by several institutions like Goethe-Institut, Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen (IfA), German Federal Foreign Office and European Cultural Foundation (ECF).
<b>Nora Al-Badri</b> is a multi-disciplinary artist with a German-Iraqi background working in different mediums such as sculpture and installation, photography and film. Her pieces deal with issues arising through hegemonic and neocolonial power structures and representations between the so called global South and North as well as with the various faces of war.
She studied political sciences at Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main and visual communications at Offenbach University of Art and Design.
<b>Jan Nikolai Nelles </b>is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Berlin. He graduated at Offenbach University of Art and Design in 2011.
His work oscillates between visual and media art. His work tragets in most cases existing power structures. Nelles makes use of photography, sculpture, video and sound Installation, he like to combine the absurd and strange with own experiences. He founded an independent art space in Offenbach am Main and a photography magazine.
